Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students!!!
If you are interested in joining this year’s QP Archery Team, now is your chance!
Practices are scheduled for Friday Afternoons, 3:00-4:30 starting January 7th, at Queen of Peace Gym. The season runs from January-March with tournament opportunities in Feb./March. Please see the Formstack link below for registration information.
All equipment will be provided by QP School as part of our National Archery in the School’s Program (NASP grant funded PE equipment).
Students will be coached by Lauren Flick, who is currently a Senior at Badin High School and who has been NASP certified. Mrs. Nieman (snieman@qphamilton.org) will also be assisting. We are in need of parent volunteers to help oversee practices. No experience necessary. Training is available upon request. If interested, please email or call!
PARENTS:
- Please go to: https://qpvikings.formstack.com/forms/202122_archery for registration. Team fee for the archery season will be $40 with the expectation that all participants will volunteer at QPAC events. Scholarships are available. No eligible child will be denied the opportunity to participate due to financial reasons. (Payment is deferred until the new year.)
- Parents will be responsible for transportation of their child to and from all tournament opportunities.
- Please be up to date on all Lindsay’s Law and emergency contact/liability waivers.
